Notes/Activity

- Most states are using state forest action plans with SWRA to help prioritize as appropriate within their state - Regionally, we have an opportunity to determine how education and pilot opportunities may become more focused - Several states offer local grants to address fuels reduction - There is an opportunity to further identify and leverage vendors in this activity (some states maintain on website list of vendors to do fuels reduction work etc) - Utilize BBN/NSAT, SWRA, state action plans and FIA data.
