Mid Term (2-4 years)

- Planning next Congressional tour for Spring 2015 in Virginia. Building multi-landowner strategies to help identify opportunities for joint work among conservation organizations, agencies and other partners. - Meetings with SSFAExecs December each year to foster discussions. Facilitated SCFA providing input and political connections towards Rx fire and insurance issues Fall 2014. - Value Card / print publication "Utilizing Strong Forest Markets" and associated website to further ideas and opportunities (produced Fall 2014) - Leveraging relationships with SFE and SREF to place articles and information strategically - Zupko hosted Congressional tour with SAF in Spring of 2014. - Zupko having ongoing discussions with AFF/ATFS, FLA and state forestry associations on opportunity to enhance education to landowners and increase harvest for fuels reduction. - Discussions with FFRC on opportunity to increase harvest on federal lands in areas of high risk - SGA and SGSF provided input to SFI revision process to enhance opportunity for fuels reduction and wildfire mitigation activities (08-2013)
