Short Term (0-2 years)

- Rayonier was a big part of the Congressional tour held Spring 2014 - Occasional discussions with NAFO, however wildland fire stated as not a priority issue nor do they see if being such in forseeable future. - Zupko facilitated a discussion with southern state forestry association execs Fall 2013 and 2014 on opportunities to further engage TIMO/REITS to engage in deliberate fuels management/prescribed burning on company land. Also enhanced support for state forestry agency wildland fire programs at the state legislative level. - Zupko relationship built with key attorney on private land wildland fire issues. Ongoing discussions on key hurdles and opportunities. - Zupko convened a conference call 08-13-13 with southern state forestry association execs to identify how companies view wildfire and address concerns and opportunities. Follow ups occurred during Fall 2013 and 2014 SSFAExecs mtgs - Zupko gained much input during FLA meeting Summer 2013 and 2014 with multiple REITs including Plum Creek, Potlach, FIA and others on how they view and handle wildfire liability - Zupko following up discussions with attorney in DC who works on these issues through FLA
