Mid Term (2-4 years)

- Value card / marketing publication to encourage engagement along with new website - Zupko coordinates regularly with Jen Evans on SERPPAS insurance study working group to help set agenda and drive appropriate discussion with the full group. - Zupko participated heavily in SERPPAS study on this topic in connecting key contributors as well as in construction of the survey - Zupko continues to facilitate state fire chiefs and state air quality chiefs on a quarterly coord call and bi-annual summit recently held jointly with Jones Center 02-2015 - 08-2014 - SFE is initiating and effort to collate/summarize existing information that would help clarify for landowners risk/liability they have in conducting Rx burning - Zupko has ongoing discussions with FLA on opportunity to create a white-paper to utilize with membership on both Rx fire and wildfire risk - SERPPAS efforts for Longleaf pine restoration. - Zupko facilitated call with Southern state forestry association execs 08-12-13 and followed up with input. - Outdoor Underwriters, where Zupko has a strong personal relationship, is planning to write individual burn insurance for landowners
